I’ve realised if I’m gonna blog more, I should be happy with the site. And I’m not.

I’m not really in it for the views. If that were true I’d have quit almost right away. Part of the interconnected “blogosphere” I ain’t. But that being said, it looks pretty boring and needs more pictures. I think that’s the first thing I need to figure out.

For website redesign stuff, I want to make sure anything I do doesn’t interfere with screen readers and those kinds of accessibility things. But I’m also interested in doing something, different. I just don’t know what I want it to look like. I’ll probably use the https://csszengarden.com/ as some inspiration, I’ve always thought that concept was cool as fuck.

So, as some of you may know, 2024 wasn’t the best year of my life. Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, divorce, you know the good stuff. That’s put a pretty understandable pause on, well, everything. I’m finding it hard to focus and be even the minimally amount of productive I was before.

Well, this is embarrassing. But also, every other blog in the world at one point or another.

Things have been happening, but it’s very very slow, and I want a bit more progress before I publish the page I have simmering.

I’ve got what I need to relocate the bike’s batteries to a better location, so that’ll be done soon. Also need to clean the storage as part of the bike thing to make it much more useful all around.

I think that’s it for now. I’m not dead, just very quiet and trying to push several boulders uphill…
