So, as some of you may know, 2024 wasn’t the best year of my life. Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, divorce, you know the good stuff. That’s put a pretty understandable pause on, well, everything. I’m finding it hard to focus and be even the minimally amount of productive I was before.
Pieces of projects lay scattered on my bench and around the bedroom/office. Still looking for others, specifically some parts of my RC Truck that will basically finish it if I can find them, otherwise I’ll need to recreate them all again. The parts of the wearable are all here in pieces, ready for final tweaks before they’re put together into the V2 adjustable version.
The websites also need major updates and will hopefully be moving from their current hosting setup sometime this year. That’ll allow me to expand them a bit and possibly properly add the federation stuff. Not sure what they’ll look like, knowing me probably the same. I’m creative that way. 😀
I’ve had issues in the past sharing partially-finished projects, but I’m going to try to get over myself about that more this year and get used to pushing to git and making public posts about my more incremental progress, as well as highlighting places where I need help. I hate asking for help.
Am thinking about setting up a tech-focused community somewhere, discord possibly, not sure. A place where it’s not controversial to ask what the community is doing to help those who need it.
